Tom Grahofer combines communications expertise with hands-on experience in executive search. He holds a bachelor's degree in communications from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration (HWZ) and speaks German as his native language as well as fluent business English.

As Sponsorship Project Manager at a Swiss energy company, he was responsible for partnerships from selection and activation through to impact measurement. As an internal communications specialist, he learned how messages land within organisations and what makes employees stay with a company.

Tom joined Hitchman Partners AG in 2023 as Communications Officer and has additionally headed Office Management and Search Execution since 2025. In this role, he has come to know the operational side of executive search from the ground up, from research and sourcing to candidate communication and the coordination of numerous parallel mandates. He continues to carry these responsibilities as Associate Partner and now also leads his own mandates, primarily in industry, energy, IT, media and financial services.
